Bach reportedly decided not to commit to the roughly three years needed to plan the Xbox's future.
Earlier today, it was revealed that Robbie Bach and J Allard plan to step down from their responsibilities at Microsoft's Entertainment & Devices division. For Bach at least, the move appears to be related to the Xbox brand's next step beyond Project Natal.

Media alerts are doing the rounds right now stating that Microsoft has decided to resurrect its thought-to-be-defunct Xbox 360-focused expo. The last expo was X06, which took place in sunny Barcelona, Spain in September 2006. X10, as it's inventively being called, will take place in San Francisco, which is generally considered to be the U.S. hub of the videogame media industry.
