last month,i bought one,Opinions on this game have certainly proven to be as divisive as the initial reaction to the original Mafia in 2002, right down to the 4/10 Eurogamer review. New look, better graphics, and an equally fine storyline make this an improved Mafia installment. It's not open-ended play - so what? Not as memorable as the first but still very entertaining, plays out like an interactive story. Just like the original the cutscenes and graphics are top notch, really immersive and fun to watch. Performance was really good on my GTX 260 out of the box, ran way better than crappy GTA 4. Only experienced a few minor glitches like textures flickering and 1 or 2 crashes. After I had decided to buy Mafia 2 Collector Edition, I was pretty disappointed because I read a lot of reviews that wasn't as good as I had expected.

Game is very REAL, with non impossible missions to be accomplished!
