The Saboteur Description
The Saboteur is a brand-new take on familiar World War II gaming. The first open-world, action game set in Nazi-occupied Europe, it contains a mix of single player stealth, third-person shooter and racing gameplay in which the player assumes the role of a hero obsessed with a personal vendetta against the Nazi regime. Utilizing a wealth of items, abilities, weapons and vehicles the player turns his private, stealth war into something much broader with the game's "Will to Fight" system which graphically reflects the will of the occupied peoples in the game, which can proves the deciding factor for all.
Story
Welcome to Nazi-occupied Paris, a unique open-world environment where you take on the role of street-tough Irish race driver Sean Devlin and eventually become The Saboteur. Although living in occupied WWII Paris, Sean is initially concerned only with the racing lifestyle and his friends within it. That all changes though when the Nazis kill his friends, and change his life forever. Seeking personal retribution on a Nazi officer and others involved, Sean's life soon becomes dominated by a need for payback, which is exacted with the help of the French Resistance, British intelligence, an arsenal of weaponry, and your own street smarts and brawn. Motivated by retribution and armed with tactics of sabotage you are a one man wrecking crew, blowing up zeppelins, derailing trains, imploding bridges, destroying armored tanks, and leveling enemy facilities in the name of vengeance.

Polished game a lot of fun Review by stoneline
Price Service Quality This is a 'sandbox' game much in the same style as Grand Theft Auto or Mercenaries. You control a character who is undermining the Nazi presence in France by blowing things up, running missions for the resistance, and otherwise being a pain in the butt for those 'jackbooted arseholes'. The graphics are good, but what really stands out is the gameplay. Rarely in this game was I aggravated due to control issues or clipping. There is a lot of polish in this game. I have not experienced any crashes during gameplay (once in awhile if I exit to windows) and there is so much to do in this game so it's always interesting. A majority of the side missions consist of blowing things up; however you can approach your targets in a number of ways, and some are harder than others. You can earn perks for your character which is similar to 'leveling up' and it provides you with abilities such as 'no knockdown from explosions', or 'steadier hand when aiming with sniper rifle'. You also can earn the ability to call in resistance fighters to help you if things get sticky (and they always do). You can drive a number of different cars including tanks, motorcycles, and racing cars, all of which, once you jack them, can store in your garage to be called into service whenever you want. The controls are great, the driving is alot of fun, maybe a bit unrealistic, but fun nonetheless. This is a worthy title to add to anyone's collection with good graphics, great gameplay, tons of things to do, and yes, there is lots of nudity, if that's your thing. (Posted on 11/4/10)
